This is only a demo but i couldn't wait any longer to put it up on here, i'm really interested to see what people think. Let me know, don't just download it! : )
this track got left sounding shit for ages so me and my man Mr E blew the dust off it and got it rollin...i think? ?
a little reggae influenced number, finished at last !! it's taken me about a month to get it done
well, here it is in its finished glory. original hook, good use of vocal - quite pleased with this one...
some nice house music for a change
At first this track didn't have any vocal but after hours of searching my vinyl vault i finally found one that worked...and mr St Sebastian helped out with the initial loop on a visit down to brighton before i arranged it...overall a success i'd say!
When i got hold of Native Instruments, i wanted to make a track using only Absynth for everything but the drums and this is the result...quite trancey and atmospheric but a driving beat and bassline keeps the dancefloor rocking : )
Another mastermind of myself and Mr E, we spent hours and smoked half of amsterdam to get this one rolled out...even though i think it could still be touched up in places it sounds ok.
Well now, this is a bit cheeky but when i first heard the original i couldn't resist giving it the beatnik treatment!! and just when i thought i had it right Mr E came in and said ''move the bassline further along, bring the amen in here and build it up more!'' we spent a few hours on it together and voila!! a killer track and an excellent remix if i do say so myself!! couldn't of done it without ya Liam!
This was a little idea me and my bro-in-law came up with one saturday afternoon in sunny brighton...it got left as a loop for bout a month and i didn't like it that much but once me and Mr E got the chronic out the bag and worked on it for a couple o weeks it started to sound like something Bukem would have played at Speed in '95 - which any producer would be happy with.
This track doesn't sound as good as the past few so i might go back to sometime and see what i can change coz the structure and sample is awesome...i used the a sample from the soundtrack to James Bond's ''For Your Eyes Only'' which i picked up in Snoopers Paradise for £3. Bargain!!!
This tune was concieved by just playing around really, we found a nice synth, played a bit of an old skool riff with it and recorded it. The sampled beats came from ''Drum In A Grip'' which Bukem used to rinse and we nicked a Tracy Thorne snippit too. We like to call it creative recycling : )
I emailed Natasha Bedingfield before i posted this but got no reply, i tried to contact her several times coz i really wanted her to hear it but i guess she's just too busy to speak to little ol me! Again, this track sounded kak for ages and it wasn't until i added an amen and a nice phat b-line after the middle break it came alive!! AND i got this track played on RADIO REVERB ( Brighton ) which was my first ever airplay of a track. RESULT!!!!
This one is for my friend Steve Wishart
